4.3 MoC Approval
4.3.1 Who has Authority to Approve MoC?

4.3.2 MoC Approval Procedure
The Approving Authority must do this procedure on receiving the request.
Note: Refer - 4.3.1 Who has Authority to Approve MoC?
- Review the change request
- Verify the minimum authority level
- Review the implications of change
- Review and approve the permit
- Review the Risk assessment
- Check the RA / JSA has planned to mitigate all foreseeable risks
- Review the proposed training requirements are comprehensive
- On completion of the review:
- Approve or Reject the change
Note: The personal directly involved with or proposing the change must not review the request
- Review the change request
- Set a target date for completion of:
- Project risk mitigating tasks
- Individual risk mitigating
- Set a target date for completion of:
- If the change is temporary:
- Define the validity period of the temporary status
Note:Re-view, updated and re-approved the change request, if target date not met.
- Ensure they are:
- Aware of the change
- Understand the change
- Aware of the likely impact due to change
Note: This includes vessels contracted in and contract staff, who are required to perform tasks in compliance with our policies and procedures.
